Suheldev
The book is about chronicle of king Suheldev who united Indians and saved our lands from invader ( Turks ) . The story starts with the scene at " Somnath Temple " where Malladev had fought a brutal battle but out-mumberd by Turks and sacrifice his life in attempt to protect the temple against Mahmud Gazani, who finally shattered the Temple.
Malladev was elder brother of young Suheldev, his father had a futile attempt to make alliance with Ajitpal king of Kannauj ( at time also the cast, religion and personal benefit was above the country ), on the return journey they had a small battle with Turks camp and find that Mahmud Gazani had sent proposal to Indian kings for loyalty to Gazani or be ready to. Invade , astonishingly most of the kings had accepted it ( Ajitpal was one of them ) . This small battle gave confidence to Suheldev that he can defeat Turks and he took vow to avenge his brother and protect the motherland.

Suheldev started leaving in self imposed exile to prepare an army of warriors and opt the Guerilla warfare tactic to take on Turks. You will find various battles fought after that and one final battle against Saler Maqud ( Nephew of Mahmud ) and Suheldev and allied Indian troops as in due course of time Mahmud had died ( it is revealed that his murder was conspired by South Indian king to avenge his brutality at Somnath Temple.
The book is well written and every character comes alive because of fine detailing . You will final yourself fighting along with Suheldev.
