The Girl of my Dreams

The Girl of my Dreams” is the story of Daman who meets with an accident with a girl and immediately goes into a coma. Soon after the accident the girl disappears and no trace of her was found! Strangely, all he remembers is a hazy face, her hypnotic eye, and her name—Shreyasi.

As time goes by, Daman is increasingly being haunted by the image and idea of Shreyasi. Due to trauma and serious injuries, he had suffered from minor amnesia erasing all his memories of the accident and of the events leading to it.

However, Daman starts writing short stories on Facebook, weaving fiction upon his faint idea of Shreyasi.
Becoming very popular soon, he is approached by a publishing house to write out his blogs into a novel. Daman starts writing but as he has to mould his story a bit under pressure from his editor , he agrees to corrupt the original edgy character of Shreyasi.
What happens after that is truly amazing. Daman starts getting stalked by an anonymous girl who somehow isn’t very happy with Daman.
So who is this stalker girl? Where is Shreyasi? What does this stalker want from Daman?

“We are in the car. She’s looking at me. I can see the love in her eyes for me.
Then a huge crash!
She flung out of the window. I’m thrown out too. A pool of blood. Her eyes still on me.....but now it’s a death stare.
I am Daman and I wake up to this nightmare. Every. Single. Day.”—(a short para from the book)
